How to cook it
In the pot
Cook for 35-40 minutes, covered with a lid on a low flame (measure one part grain to two parts water so that the liquid is completely absorbed preserving the properties of the grain). If necessary, slightly extend cooking time by adding a small amount of boiling water. It is recommended to add salt when almost done so that the kernels remain tender.
In the pressure cooker
Reduce cooking time and the liquid by about half.
We recommend rinsing the product with water before use and lightly toasting to taste, by stirring the millet for 2 to 3 minutes.
